AIF Sunday School 2024–2025 Academic Year Information

1. Introduction

Dear Parents,

With the above du’a from Surah Al-Baqarah, we begin—asking Allah (SWT) to increase our knowledge
of this beautiful, universal faith for ourselves as a community, as parents, and for our children.

Allah (SWT), who has blessed us with so many blessings—among them our community—allows us to worship,
reflect, and strive to live our best lives while aiming for the Hereafter, insha’Allah.

We thank Allah (SWT) for providing us with a school where we keep the words of Allah (SWT) and the
teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) alive and vibrant—not only within ourselves, but for future generations.

2. Mission Statement

• Allah (SWT) is the Lord of creation, and all humans are honored and equal.
• AIF Sunday School aims to provide a quality education rooted in the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.
• This universal message is taught in a way that is relevant, meaningful, and applicable across all
  people, places, times, and cultures—including our present American context.

3. Notable Changes

a. Schedule

• Drop-off: 10:00 AM (SHARP)
• Pick-up: 1:30 PM (after Salat al-Zuhr)

b. Subjects

• Qur’an
• Islamic Studies
• Arabic

c. Arabic Tracks (Ages 10+)

• Arabic Language Track: Reading, writing, and speaking
• Qur’anic Arabic Track: Qaida Noorania, Qur’an reading, and introduction to vocabulary

d. Tuition

• 1 Child: $500/year
• 2 Children: $800/year
• 3+ Children: $1,000/year

Tuition assistance is available on a case-by-case basis. Books and materials are not included.

4. Registration

Registration is a 2-step process (both steps required):

After registration is reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email with full details.

Lunch will be provided.

5. School Information

Each Sunday includes 3 sessions with breaks, lunch, and Salat.

• Qur’an memorization and meaning
• Arabic (Qur’anic or Modern Standard tracks)
• Islamic Studies

School Times

• Start: 10:00 AM
• End: 1:30 PM

6. Additional Information

Students will perform Salat and are expected to wear appropriate clothing.
